Once you've logged into the portal, you will find the "inspect the item" button in the lot page, located in the right sidebar box next to the photogallery.
Click on the button to send your request: you'll be contacted directly by the auction representative to view the item you are interested in.

Remember to specify the auction code and lot number in the request email.
